Stihl MS290 vs. Husky 55R

I'm sure this has been asked before, but which is the better saw.
I will be cutting mesquite and oak trees in TX, not everyday but often enough.

Here is a link to the result of a search on "*290+55*". I think most aspects of that choise will be covered if you look trough those treads.

Unless the higher power output of the 290 is really needed, there is little doubt that the 55 is a much nicer saw.
The Stihl MS280 and 270 are closer matches to the 55R than the 290 is.
