supposed to be a barnes haldex pump but?

I recieved my pump in the mail today that I won on ebay and it was listed as a barnes haldex and on the tag it says northern inc. Is it a barnes that was made for northern tools or is it just something else?

check the northern hydraulics (older name) or Northern Tool site. They used Northern Inc on some items in the older days.
Older ones were haldex barnes.

newer ones I don't know.

It's very likely a Barnes Haldex pump. I think Northern has them branded with their name, but built by Barnes. If you post a pic I can possibly I D it for you. A C

Haldex/Barnes makes the majority of the 2-stage pumps which on the retail market are sold under private labels. The next common brand is made by MTE. Both companies are headquartered in Rockford ,ILL. There are a couple newer 2-stage pumps that look like Haldex/Barnes ( Dynamic and IFP ) that appear to be clone imports.

The first pic is of a IFP pump (Dynamic looks the same ).
The second is of a MTE pump.
Third pic is of a 16 gpm Northern and a 11 gpm Haldex/Barnes.
