If you have a cant hook, just make a t-stand for it and you're done.

That's what I was thinking, will it get in my way if it's permanently mounted or should I make it removable? I figure it'll get in the way but what do I know lol

Actually, it wouldn't be hard to make it removable but I don't think it would be important since I never use mine unless I'm rolling or lifting logs. ie, I've never removed the stand from mine even though it just requires pulling a hitch pin.
