ive had far too many sparkling ales and the images in my mind are starting to disturb me

Coopers? Coopers Clear is one nice drop too.

It pays to get friendly with chemical reps at work. This is what I received today :D

I didn't mean to like your "squirts" comment :) Had to feel pity on you though as I have a colonoscopy on Monday and have to drink that vile fluid that goes straight through you for 12 hours prior. It's about my 15th colonoscopy so please think of me guys while I'm sucking my thumb and thinking of England. As long as the specialist doesn't have both hands on my shoulders while doing the checkup I should pull through with only marginal mental impairment...

bugger me,...........15th...................do you get flybuys with that?
seriously Matt hope you check out ok

Oh and another few piccys over the last few weeks.
I ordered a new Lightforce SL240 HID spotlight last week and it arrived today. I was very sceptical about buying another Lightforce (I still own an SL170) as I believe they are a mass produced, cheaply made light. They proved me correct once again (sadly) with the only thing going for them being light weight (unfortunately a big factor when holding a spotlight for 6-7 hours on a big shooting night).
It throws a bright, white spot but with quite a fuzzy edge and broadly lit ring surrounding the main focal point. As most people who spotlight pest animals would realise this is not good for holding pest animals under a light. The thing was also obviously designed by a midget. The cord coming out of the base actually digs painfully into the palm of your hand. I only have hands classed as large-extra large. They've also made it so that when assembled it won't fit back into it's box.

And a couple of shooting/reloading photos over Easter...

The .177 Diana got another heap of rabbits around my property. Have hardly made a dent though...

Spotlighting with my new Led Lenser head lamp :)

This is what you call a compressed load in the old .303 British. 38 grains of AR2209 and 150gn Taipan HP. Not the most ideal powder but I wanted to save my AR2208 for the .22/250 Ackley. I loaded 100 of these...

Hah no fly buys sadly although I've flown off the bed a few times :D I should be fine mate and thanks for asking. I'll try and get some internal piccys off the specialist and post them. Ah maybe not...

Anyway, a few more piccys...

A tree branch that landed on my work ute after a bit of wind. Only time I've used a saw for what feels like an eternity...
It dented the bonnet and front quarter panels...

An emu that I gave a hurry along in the work ute. I flew up behind him and as I was reaching for my phone to grab a photo to impress a mate I looked up and he'd slowed down - I was actually bunting him up the arse. Quite happy I didn't suck him under the ute though :)

Also my best mate from Tasmania with his Tikka T3 lightweight in .25/06 and a fox and crow he shot over Easter on the in-law's farm. Nothing fancy though. The fox ran out and stopped for a look about 30m in front of the ute and the crow was about 150m out. I took a photo on my phone to send to his 4 year old son - we had to turn the fox over for the photo though as he was in a bad way on the side the projectile exited. He also nailed 70 rabbits. About 50 of those with 75 grain Ballistic Tips out of the odd six. Very effective and very destructive...

We had a good weekend on Easter and I've got the shooting bug back. I'm taking dad out spotlighting tomorrow night on a mate's 12,000 acre farm. I'll spot out the driver's side and he can do all the shooting. Now he's retired he needs things to do to keep him entertained :)

Been there done that. You certainly don't want them to cough as they can present a large amount of clamping force...

Yeah I've heard that mate. I've had these Taipans for years as I bought them cheap somewhere. Can't even remember where. The old .312" projectiles have certainly skyrocketed in price since I bought these. Well actually so has all bloody reloading gear...

Aaah, the old shoulder length gloves, now those were the days

FWIW, a vet friend of ours reckons she'd rather preg test cows and horses all day long than have to do the anal glands on one dog.
Actually, she flat out refuses to do the dogs and passes that onto her colleagues.

Smart girl.

Not that I'm suggesting any similarities between a dogs bum and Matt's, or anything like that.
At all.
Ever.

Blocked canine sebacious glands are something to behold. Uncontrolled dry wretching once squeezed and unblocked. That smell is evil.
I can't lick my own bum like a dog can either Rick. Not that I've tried...
Honest...

Thanks for the help on the HD filter kit, edge and engine delivered in a reasonable amount of time and were pretty cheap!
