Heavy is good
Bloody oath, only problem was I felt like I was going to drop dead after lifting 3x1mx18" logs, I couldn't catch my breath and almost had some sort of panic attack, not a nice feeling and some what concerning to say the least (I just couldn't get enough oxygen into the lungs.

This is the stuff that nearly fooked me!

Top one red box...
Bottom one wattle of some sort as a first guess, long shot myrtle but it looks too big. Super heavy maybe grey box or iron.
Is the top one really heavy? If not, maybe an apple box, which is not box.

Neil's a pretty good at this if he pops in.

Thanks for that chippy - both are heavy - what ever it is it should burn well

If the bottom one is certain types of wattle and you burn it in a wood heater, it can get hot enough to heat it that hot the steel will glow red and buckle inside....it happened to me and I had to rip it apart and repair it...

I still burn it but mix it with box with the vent shut down for a slow burn

""3x1mx18" logs" by my rule of thumb be close to 80kg a log so yur lifting my own body weight thats no mean feat,, but your symptoms suggest perhaps you get yourself down for dr roadworthy check up to be sure,, oh and cut them logs in half may help.. & dunno what species

Thanks for the heads up Chippy, I tend to mix my woods for the same sort of reason and generally turn em right down once they are burning well to help preserve the heater.

Cheers mate

Yeah mate I think I will get down to the docs and see what they say, I've had similar issues splitting a few bits of wood too, just run out of oxygen and struggle to keep breathing.

Cheers mate

Prolly recommend losing a few kegs I recon
Mate I've done that more times than I care to remember, just can't keep it off and I'm sure that's what the problem is as my lungs etc would be getting squashed by all the bloody fat I'm carting around. It's a problem I've battled with since about the age of 10 so can't see me getting a win to be honest, it will just be the same ol lose weight gain weight cycle for sure which makes it bloody hard to even bother trying but I guess I have to keep trying in the hope that one day I manage to keep it off for good.

Cheers mate

Yep the extra ballast is good on tractors but not workable when added on the human chassis with one weak pump that just ain't made for the extra load carry capacity

dont talk about a week pump im over due to get my week pump looked at the wifes on me to go but i cant be ****ed spanding a days worth of driving for them to tell me to get a new job and come back in 5 years.

I haven't been to a doctors or dentist since 1986. They don't know **** just pop you up with pills or offload you to a specialist , it's all in the head anyway and gotta keep yourself moving, work threw the pain and say fuk you soldier up. Like my grandfather he was his own dentist in the shed and sewed himself up , lived into his mid 90s with no docs or dentists in his whole life
