So, it appears that the harmony which this thread was supposed to inspire, is not making a great deal of progress. At least it's good natured clowning around.

Can we shift gears a minute and talk about another topic? It's an issue that most of us dealers have to face from time to time. Customer bribes. That's right, customers often attempt to bribe us in order to get some special treatment, usually a quicker turn around on a repair.

A couple of hours ago, a guy I know comes in with a saw that won't start. It's Friday afternoon, and I've got enough loose ends to tie up, and I really don't need to add another job to the list. So what does this self interested and unscrupulous customer say to me? "I just tapped a keg of nut brown ale." Can you believe that guy?

Saw is done, he's on the way home, and I'm mighty thirsty. :givebeer:
