Husky 346XP
Stihl MS440
Dolmar PS7900

Maybe one of these days I will need a bigger big saw, and the plan will change, but for now this works for me.

That's a good combo. I have a 7900 work saw, but I don't own it. Mine would be:

026
440
064

Actually, I like the 024 Super better than the 026, but since I already have an 026...

026, 359 ported, 044, 084, 310 running back up

thats the plan if i can get the 044 and 084 running

If you get the 346, you will use the 359 even less. I have had mine for about a month or two and it has really impressed me. With a 372 and 346 there's not much need for the 359. I run a 441 with the 346 and the 70cc/50cc combo seems just about right. Having said that, I will probably get a 661 when they come out!

I'm sure you're right about the 359. I probably wouldn't use it at all unless one of the other two broke. I want to keep it though because it's in good shape and if one of the other two broke it would work for limbing or cutting most big wood (not huge wood) in a pinch.

My problem is that I need to quit thinking about getting a 346xp and get one.

The 3 I used today were an Oly 945AF a Crafstman/ Poulan 2800 and my Oly 264F with a 24'' bar. I took these because I had a gallon of gas that was a little old.

I would usually take my J-Red 2150, and 2065, and Dolmar 7900. Lately I have been taking a Ryobi 40cc instead of the 2150. A little lighter for limbing.

346xp/260pro , 576xp/372xp , Ms660.

Try The New Husqvarna 576xp, I did and I bought it. After 10 days of use I would buy it again, amazing saw!!.

Hey there banshee was curious how you like the 262xp they have one on craigslist i might go pick up the guy wants 250 for it he says if he can't sell it by sunday its going on ebay.

And as far as my 3 saw plan i am still waiting on the my dealer to get the
346xps in i guess they are a hot saw around my neck of the woods.

But my 3 are

346xp waiting for it
576xp have
385xp still looking

My 3 saw plan for now

MS 200 Rear Handle in pieces (hopefully not for long, Thanks Bailey's!). The Redmax 3800 really intrigues me though.
026- Want to try a 346XP, but the 026 a very solid saw and all I "need".
371XPG- Bought it on Craigslist and I just like looking at it and hearing it idle!

I'd assume the MS200 will piss all over a 3800? Always wanted an MS200 anyway, well, not as much as a 460!
UK:
I now (last month or two) have a proper 3 saw plan!
024 16" .325 (planning on 15") muff mod
038M 20" & 30" 3/8 (converted from 038AVS) muff mod
076 25" (.404, soon to be 3/8 with a 9 pin) & 36" 3/8. Also for milling
Very pleased with how the 024/038M combo is going at the mo

Australia
Husky 36 12" 3/8LP
056AV 20" 3/8
Jred 111S 30" .404

I hope it does, and it certainly should, but the local Redmax dealer will give me a great deal on a new 3800 for about the same price as a carb and piston for a MS200! With a case of CAD, it sure is hard to pass up.

that may be - but don't let it stop you getting the 200 back together!

To get started with the all around small saw:
Husqvarna 346xp NE with a 18 to 20 inch bar OR
Stihl ms260 with 18 to 20 inch bar
Either saws running .325 chain.

The mid size saw will be:
Stihl ms 440 or 441 with a 28 inch bar OR
Husqvarna 372xp or 576xp with a 28 inch bar
This size range works good with 3/8" full or skip chain

The large saw:
Husqvarna 288xp or 390 with a 32 inch bar OR
Stihl 064 or Ms660 with a 32 inch bar

I think you got it right. I would go 346XP (NE); 372XP/576XP (still don't know which I'd choose); 390XP. Have Snelling work 'em for you and you are good-to-go.
