How about we meet up at the Iowa GTG and have at all these saws?

Where is it going to be held? If it's not too far I'll consider it.

Right now I am pruning my apple trees and have to prep the backyard for the 27 more I have coming in April. I am taking the tops out and reshaping the older trees because they are too tall and are difficult to spray/pick.

Since this post turned into a highjack, might as well post this one too of the backyard, I just like this picture.:msp_unsure::redface:

mak 6401 soon to up grade to 85cc

Do yourself a favor and get the OEM 79cc jug: same or better power, and better quality by a fair bit.

id like to find a mak dcs540

Not a bad saw. Pretty comparable to a 026, but less of a revver and more of a low-end grunt saw.

but am looking at the mak 510 any one with experience with this saw

Heavy is the word that comes to mind. It is a nice homeowner saw, but most of us are enthusiast.

I had a 5100 sent to me for and extended stay. It is a strong saw, but only a smidgen stronger than a 346, and not nearly as good in the hands.

I have a 261 coming this week. I want to see how it compares in power and feel.
