Truck bed trailer??

That's where you take a old truck and cut the frame of the truck behide the cab.Then weld on some channel to frame and install a hitch for a ball.Has anyone have one? Are there plans for such a trailer? opinion's about this type of trailer?

Good idea

This actually makes a decent, inexpensive trailer.Considering the price of steel,buliding a trailer from scratch is not cost effective.My father-in-law has a trailer made from an old datsun pickup,small,but works great behind a 4-wheeler!! Ive also seen a full size bed that was converted into a dump trailer..works great!!

Only problem is the wheel tubs.If you make a dump out of one i would try to use a 1 ton flat bed.:rockn:
