I went to two different dealers from the Stihl USA site. Both had that unbelievable high price for the 291 c-beq or whatever it is.

Over here the price looks quite normal for that version, considering it is a "consumer" Stihl - but I really wonder how anyone would want that add-on crap, that they call "features", at the penalty of the extra weight. :msp_rolleyes:
Non-pro Stihls are way too costly compared to their rather low priced pro saws here anyway, but that is not just about that model.

Btw, the 290 and 310 never was offered for sale here - the 291 is, but not the 271. The 391 also is, but not the 311. The 270 also was dropped, as soon as the 280 was out.
