Had the two little grandson's (2 & 4) helping with the woodpile. My brother has a bunch of wood cut into 8' lengths and I've been sawing it down to size for his fireplace.

Both boys were using their croquet mallet "wood choppers" and helping me split and stack the wood I'd already cut. The two year old needed some small pieces he could handle, so Uncle Bill is getting some kindling sized pieces today. Between telling tales, pee breaks, and 1 million questions we didn't get a whole lot done, but had lots of fun.

When Uncle Bill showed up for the Labor Day picnic the boys hit him up for $1.00 to compensate them for their hard work.

Thats what this country was founded upon. Great story! Those kids should grow up seeing how us hard working Americans live!;)
