Walbro wd 247 carb question

Just rebuilt carb with gasket kit. When done i tried blowing through fuel inlet and could blow write through and air came out the impulse hole on carb. Which just fills cylinder with fuel. I pulled carb back apart to check everything. All looked good. Just wondering what im missing. Did i blow something out and not realize it.

Saw is poulan 2100. Reson for rebuild kit was carb was dirty. Saw ran before but not proper.

I tripple checked gaskets and all were in the same order as old ones came out.

Heres a pic of extra parts with kit. The blut fuel pump gasket matches up with the black one i used. But thats not what i took out so never used it.

Other pic is of the hole air is coming out.

The original pump diaphragm is wrong, it has to be a solid top diaphragm to seal that big impulse
chamber up from the atmosperic air port...in other words, you can't do it that way!

Is that an import or a China kit?

The reason I asked about the import kits is that some of the Asian kits don't have the
correct nitrile (black) diaphragms, only the tan & blue ones....you really have to look
the kits' pictures over, before you buy them. No pictures, no buyee merc man san...
