I have year and half old Husky 395 that needs to go. The saw has been run about 15 to 20 minutes and converted to 404 pitch.
Pictures attached, so looking for the best offer on it, I'm not sure were the serial number is so if someone wants to tell me I will take a picture and send it. As you can see almost new. I think I paid around $1200.00 for it from Baileys Logging

Ok thanks toe everyone looking at the 395XP for sale. It was sold this morning on of all things Craigslist.

Consider the possibilities .

I have more than enough stuff to keep busy.
I have a 1940 Ford 2 door coupe that needs an interior, a 1966 El Camino that needs paint along with the 1959 El Camino that keeps me busy at car shows.
Plus I have probably 3,000 feet of saw chain I got to get out of the garage, along with all sorts of saw chain accessories.

Sounds like it.

So you go on old car forums and argue about whether you go to hell for using non-antique upholstery on an antique car...

Or is that just vintage bathroom forums? :>"

Yeah it is.
Plus I have my McCulloch chain saw collection which needs attention.
I have a McCulloch drone airplane engine which I need to find a carburetor for, 4 cylinder 2 stroke, boxer engine. So if anyone knows a source I would appreciate the info.

All 3 of my cars are restomods, powered by GM LS motors with 4L60E transmission so non-antique upholstery is a moot point. I need horsepower and good mileage.

This one came to me in a trade, I have never even thought seriously about trying to make it run. If I could find an appropriate prop I might spring for it but for now it just hangs from the ceiling in the museum. Google a bit and you will likely find more information.

That 3,000’ of saw chain isn’t by chance 1/2” gauge?🤔

Oops-pitch
Don't I wish, we surveyed the market in 2009 and the most demand we could come up with in the US was about 20,000 feet per year. That was split about have wanted 1/2 chisel for hot saws and the other half wanted 1/2 semi-chisel for cutting paper rolls at mills.
Impossible to justify making the dies for at that.
Oregon thought long and hard about it 10 years ago, project was named "50 Caliber" in the end they passed at the time, however there may be demand in the future.
Currently harvester products use either ..404 80 gauge or .750, some people have pushed the industry to develop a .500 pitch chain because they feel .404 is too light and .750 is overkill. Lately .750 has made some inroads on Europe which traditional was only .404 for harvester, but it has been low volumes. In the US .750 is taking more and more market share from .404 in the harvester end.
