i am need of a 30" long by 1" wide bow saw blade. smaller width blades "turn" in the frame and do me no good. any idea whom may have something i am looking for? thanks; marty

Marty is this for work or racing?? Race blades are 42" (have a 1-2 year wait on new and cost $250-300) Work blades ussally go up to 36" and I would check Lowes or Home Dedto (miss spelled on purpose).

the race need a blade for is only cutting 8" wood and i seem to have the best power when i run 30". lowes, home depot and true value only have the narrow width blades that turn in the frame. marty

Race blades are only 42" and up. These blades don't flop around like the factory blades. But if you can get your self to run a factory blade fast when you get a full race blade you will be faster yet. As for finding blades that can get hard. I know that Kevin Ranson has a nice stack of frames. And a good used race blade is $200.
