I hardly believe you can do much better with a 20" bar on that saw - 20" really is too much....

That's why he should try the woodsman pro skip cant remember the # I know strange a skip .325 chain but it works,at least for me it did! Edit I looked it up 20RCS

Just have the saw modded and you can run any 3/8" chain you want in any wood and it will cut great. I run CL and LG and both do great on a 16" with 7pin.

It is a experiment for me it helps the under powered saw's. Not like a 346 is under powered but it does not have the power of a 60cc saw.

Somewhat true but what if he don't want to mod his saw? Sometimes it is worth doing some experimenting especially if it only cost's a few bucks with the chain you are running.
