I could agree... I have to turn my 044 into a 460 when I get time...

when i only had one saw ,i had an 034 av ,great firewood saw ,it got the job done for years for me

This is basically an 036 with a slight difference in flywheel right?

My favorite is my 44.

I love my 10 mm 044, had it for over 20 years, but this new 362 C-M may give it a run for it's money. It is lighter, and that M-Tonic gets it to cut about the same. We will see what happens after Randy gives them his medicine.

you don't say ,one i built of new nos parts ,has since been parted out

I have 4 STIHLs and every one of them is my favorite for the job each one fits best. The 440 is 28", the 461 is 24" full comp and 32" skip, the 036 is 3/8 x 20" and the MS260 is .325" chains on 16", 18" and 20" bars. No wimpy saws here!
