Depends...

The 12V one would be handy for pulling apart most things but the 18V would pull clutches and such. I know the DeWalt I got the other day is supposed to do a bit over 120lb-ft... kind of steep for saws.

Do the impacts have a clutch like my 12V drill/driver? I'm really thinking the 12V would be the way to go. The drill/driver I have now is almost all I need. If I need more, I can always use the pneumatic gun on the lowest setting.

The DeWalt impact drive does not have a clutch. Mine is 18V and will pull clutches and anything else you want.... be careful.

I just went out to check my exact model numbers. Lo and behold, I forgot that I have an 18V Impactor. I've only used it for driving screws. Been a while since I used it, lol.
