What was the first saw you ever used?

First time my dadmletmmemcut with a powersaw
Was a monkey wards branded homelite. Whet my whistle, then when I was 12 it was a promac 10-10A.

I had use of an old remmington with no recoil start....so i made a hub with a notch to start it like a old gravely...it worked...cut a bit of wood for the stove in the apartment my wife and i had.....then a near new c-52 homelite found it's way to me and put a bar and chain on that...cut quite a bit of wood and experienced my first kick back with taht saw. Then a college friend gave me a 028avelectronic and i cut alot of wood with that...funney thing spent about ten minutes trying to figure out how to disengage the chain brake....i think i called him up to ask! I have more modern stihls and one husky 55 now but the 52 and some other old saws are around and i use them sometimes!

started out with 2 borrowed saws...Homelite XL, 12" and a Mac 110, i think with a 10" bar. I 'graduated' to his 031 eventually. The first saw I bought was a 266xp...which is still cutting wood in the high sierra today (sold it to a friend many years ago)

Maybe a Poulan Wild Thing, but I'm quite sure it was a Husky 61.
