My $40 Echo 360T pawn shop find first. Looks good and runs but I'm going to look at it anyway. I've got a 028 WB and 028 WBAV EQ on the bench too. First runs though may need a carb cleaning, latter needs lines and carb work. 039 is next. Has compression and looks good cosmetically so I have hopes. Yellow Craftsman Professional 40cc that recently started dying after warm-up. It's a rebadged Redmax with a good Zenoah engine, otherwise I wouldn't bother. 011AV, 025 and a 250 in some order after these.

Hey Brad, I hope you'll post pics of the porting when you're done on that one. I'd like to see what it looks like when done compared to the way you have it drawn out on the stock cylinder wall. I hope to do one myself some time but I don't want to take a chance on messing up one of my good ones.

Hey. I noticed when i took the bearinga out of my 038 super the bearings had the exposed side inward and the cage against the seals. Would the way you have it not allow as much lubrication to the bearing?

With the Hyway bearings I used, the cages (metal) are identical on either side. These are bearings my customer supplied to me.
With the OEM bearings I removed (NTN - plasic cage).....yes, they were like you describe.

Man, I love these saws. You can't get more saw for the money.

Hey Brad

You got any post grinding pics you are willing to share?

I have a 390 coming my way and plan on letting it breathe a bit better. I am looking for inspiration.

What do you do the the muffler?

These are the only pics I took. I took them to text someone, not thinking of doing a build thread. On the muffler, I opened up under the factory deflector and added another on the PTO side.

Well, the outboards are put away for the winter, the saws are in good order, but....

The mower needs attended to, deck need painted and serviced, along with the engine. I need to winterize the ATV, and a nice day to get it hosed off.

Got a generator that I need to get back together (the bolt that holds the generator to the shaft stripped)

Still need to get the popup camper fixed up for summertime. Awaiting a possible parts camper, which I probably ought to check on tomorrow.

But for now, the car is up on the stands for a tire rotation, grease job, oil change, and general checkup...
