If you want the occasional use super beast get the 395
If you want a saw that you can use for anything, even big bar work get the 390.

I have had both. The 395 runs great and has tons of power, but its big heavy and its old school. Complete with outboard clutch, and front chain adjuster both from the stone age.

Bought 390xp with some work to be done, so ordered some parts and should be up and running saw shortly!

LOL, You guys get so worked up about chainsaws, that Im surprised that a full on fist fight doesn't happen at the GTG's 576 with autotune is the only way to go, otherwise find a 372XPW, those are awesome saws too

Great choice! I've owned and run most of the big Huskies and the only one that I miss that I've sold is the 390xp.
