I'm not in the market so this is just asked out of curiosity.
New or old models okay.

What saws would you want to use with a 20" bar? 24" bar? Or longer bar?

My Shindaiwa line up would be.
20"--575
24"--695
Longer--757

Stihl MS461 running a 24" bar. I've been thinking about it for a while but never cut big enough logs to warrant the purchase.
Echo CS620 running a 20" bar. I've thought about it a lot to replace my good old MS290 but in the end I am too cheap for it.
There shouldn't be anything around here needing a longer bar so I've never given thought about running anything longer than a 24", and even that is probably overkill.

I have a 20" on my MS361 and I think that is about right.
I'm going to get a 25" for the 460 that is on its way to me.
When I get my milling operation dialed in I'll have a 660/066 or 880/088 with a 36"

Fantasy saws with big wood? I'd like to have a 372 with 20". A 7900 or 064 with 24". Bigger bars and saws is hard. I love my Homelite 750 with a 28". I wish I had more than 20" bars to try on my jonsereds 910e and 820. Any bar over 30" I'd like to try a 395 or 660.

562XP for booth, just get it ported and you have plenty of saw and less weight. That's my plan, I have ran 1/2 tank thru mine so far so couple of more tanks first.

My go to is the 372XP. If I need to cut anything bigger than 28" I will use my old McCulloch 250 with the 39" bar. Which reminds me, I should get it (250) out and see if it runs... been a while.

Pics at least. Video if possible. If your profile pic is your old lady let her hold the 250.:)

My current picks would be my ms460 for the 20" and my new MMWS 660 for the 24"+

If I had to walk very far, though, I'd probably revise my choices...
