First off thanks for having me this is a fun place to visit and read .I've been cutting firewood since i'am 14 years old thats 34 years first with my dad for the house for warmth at 17 for just about everything 14" mini mac got me started .At 18 i got a pickup and have been harvesting wood ever since for backyard burning and meat smoking in my weber kettles and smokers .Also lucky enought to have a frind with a fire pit behind his bar theres always a load to work on life long cutting and splitting keeps me sane and in shape

95% of the CS gas I burn in saws is for hobby milling
The rest is for taking down and trimming friends and neighbors trees, firewood and just for fanging about with saws.

Ahhh, the casinos! They're a blessing and a curse at the same time, I live about 45 minutes from them, but you're much closer! I used to service the currency counters there (softcount room) I spent plenty of Christmas' and Thanksgivings down in the hole.. I wont miss it one bit.
Anyway I cut a lot for firewood, but also cut quite a bit for milling, So I'll have to select "other". I'm building a timber frame home from the wood on my property. Everything from the post and beams, studs, tongue and groove ceilings and floors, interior and exterior moldings as well. The mill has already paid for itself long ago...

I hear ya there! I worked for Mohegan Sun 2 years ago and my girlfriend lives literally 5 minutes from Foxwoods! Believe me, it's a drive that makes you want to poke your f---ing eyes out!!
