Why were those bars positioned like that on those macs, Was it used for a special application. Looks like the power head would be too far forward when bucking with it.
I don't see how that would help any, But i never run one with the bar that way, All the old macs i ran had straight bars.For cutting branches overhead .........
Well that's it, They were male saws.It is kinda odd, lots of old chainsaws were like that, big ones like the beltdrive Homelites, jutting up like they were interested in something.
