Winterizing Hardy H2

Without draining completely and lines too. Besides an automotive antifreeze what can I use to mothball? I will still use may just be few weeks in between. While traveling for work. Wife have man gaged well for several years. Just trying to make easy on her.

I don't know because I never let mine cool off.
But you will need many many gallons of whatever you use!

I don't think auto antifreeze is recommended. Ask Hardy & see what they say...

Drop in a heating element in the water jacket through the vent stack....like one for a livestock waterer. The auto fill float is directly below it but if you have one that is long and skinny it should work

Perhaps cheaper/easier to pay someone to stoke it every other day to keep the temp above freezing?
