I have 2 bird suet feeding stations mounted on a Tulip tree. The woodpeckers love it and have been on it every day for over a year. The tree has become discolored from where they walk everyday. It is dry and the tree bloomed fine. Will this hurt it in the long run? Photo below. Thanks.
