Thank God .
They are actually very nice saws for limbing and trail clearing, with more guts than one might expect from 32cc. It's very light and perfectly sized with a 12" bar with a large tip diameter. There are 35 and 38cc versions too.I've always liked the design of those macs. They look like they are interesting to work on.
Here's one for you guys.
Just had a customer give it to me, it was appreciated 3ven more since there was a bit of customer created difficulty on the job.

@Huntaholici didn't say simonized 372 lol while they run good and are consistant there are stronger 372's. the one in particular i mentioned was done very differently from how simon does them too. different piston then he uses as well. cutting a popup on a 268 piston and throwing it in there is so retarded easy that anyone can do it and have a stout saw without any grinding on the cylinder.

@Huntaholic
Has been a popular simple mod
Since the 371 came out
No grinding on pricey oem cylinders
Especially back then
I've only used open window 268 pistons
Haven't tried other types
Im not sure if this is directed at me or Czed, but in any case, the only hutzl (farmertec) top end in my saw arrangement is in fact in the 372 right now and its the bb kit. YES it runs and runs well, I just want more UUUMMPPHHH out of it. Ive built 2 other 372s for a buddy using farmertec BB kits. One of them for whatever reason, seems to be a FANTASTIC saw. The other one ate a clutch side crankcase bearing and subsequently the clutch side case as well. It actually was my fault it went down because I didn't freshen up the bottom end when I built it.Do your hutzl saws still run?
I've made some good runner's out of the ft cylindersIm not sure if this is directed at me or Czed, but in any case, the only hutzl (farmertec) top end in my saw arrangement is in fact in the 372 right now and its the bb kit. I thought a belt sander was sufficientOf course i could've had the base cut to adjust squish
But i would have to ship them to and from
My friend with a lathe.
Making circles on the concrete driveway can work in a pinch.I thought a belt sander was sufficient
