Man, 390-7900, now that would be a toughie for anyone to decide on. Either way a man defenitly wins IMHO

I picked the 7900 over the 390xp... Yes, it was a tough decision... But I am now a Dolmar lover... Enough so, that this year, I will buy another... Just out of the box SPEED!!!

Indeed. I have limited experiance with 79ers and zero with the 390, but I'd hazard a guess that it would depend on how hard you work a saw. The Dolmars weight would be a big advantage to a lighter user such as myself, whereas I'd imagine the XP's advantage would show up in long-term durability for a severe use application.

Oh....if I HAD to choose, it would be a 7900. Incredible bang for the buck and all that jazz...:)

560 XP
11.8 lb., 4.7 hp

Maybe someday you'll be able to jump the border to Canada and buy one for $1200!

If you were wanting something in the 60cc range I would get a ms361 if you can find one. If you are wanting a little more power in the 70cc range get a 372xp. In my opinion the 372 is one of the best ever made.

LOL, almost fell off the planet... Honestly, just been busy with work, kids, wife, and I've been working to complete my Master's Degree. Not much time to tinker anymore.
Glad to be back on here!

Well if ya get 15 minutes of boredom, swing down to the south side of baseline and I'll let ya run the Black Widow... :msp_tongue:
