Dang first those 330's and now that 3800. You must have an in somewhere. Great pick up.

Bob, I guess I shouldn't tell on the new PP305, PPS25AV and the PPS25 I also got. No boxes with these ones and the previous owner tried to start the 305 and 25AV so there not technically NOS anymore.

Then there was the NOS 3700 that was stripped of some of its parts at the dealer..

Deer hunting I used to. Congratulations to your Dad

That's starting to look like my daughter's living room with all the shoulder mounts they have, 8 pts and up. Nothing wrong with a crossbow, that's all I've been pulling back for years, left shoulder won't let me pull a bow. Plus with my new injury I may get to go in January.

Man that one in the middle has some nice brow tines.

I looked for my barn antler pic but couldnt find it. I keep the bare skull ones like that on the inside wall.

Nephew missed old slab last night. Thank goodness for me. :D

@OhioGregg how is the deer looking your way? Dad took the smart 9 off the land. Doe got the 9 killed. :p

Dad is 75 and still not giving them a break using a crossbow.

So that means the 15pt he couldnt get shot at 25yds, 8pt he passed on at 20 yds and ole slab he passed on at 5yds a going downhill 7pt, 10pt, other 8's plus many others to choose from known to us.

There is a good story on this 9 and why he decided to take him. Remember I said he had gotten to smart. ;)

I bought a new toy for our new gun laws since they allow these now.

Real nice one Kevin!! I see deer...around here, few average size bucks and lots of does. Havn't seen a monster yet, but then I usually don't. LOL I was kicking around the idea of getting one of those Marlin lever action .45/70's and using that for deer. Now that they are legal here. But something about $600 didn't seem to make much sense, when I can kill them just as dead with my old Browning BPS 12 Ga. :D

Gregg,

Gregg,

Thats why I didnt go lever action. I wanted but couldnt justify it either.

I use my .50cal muzzy before my shotgun anymore.

Anyone know what causes a small pinhole sized little hole in a cylinder like this one right above and to the right of the intake port? Does it affect anything?

Just a minor flaw in the plating at the factory.
Could have been like that since new.
There are many who would make 10,000 excuses why it was now a junk cylinder, but they are idiots.
Run the living dog urine out of it.
Let me know when it comes through.

We could discuss the hole when we're on the other side.

S25DA Oil pump covers. Of you look close you can see one has a much smaller passage on it.

Picked this up today. Only a couple miles from the house. View attachment 463138 View attachment 463139

Very nice Mark, I have a low hour 3800 but obviously not a new one. At 1991 I wonder if that's one of the later models? The 3700 and 4000 were done, replaced by the farm pro 375 (and 3800) and Poulan pro 395 those 2 may have been getting shelved around 91 too. The 2800&^ saws were in the mix since around '87. Hard to nail down end dates for these. NOS saws are the best. I have 2 don't know if the 330 counts if it does 3, pp305, pp330 and a micro
I wonder if Sears was selling the 3800 along side their gray/black version
