cant beat a load of birch!
A load of rock Maple or Red Oak is more prized around here but that Birch was what was growing on that road right of way in that area. I harvested 43 cords of hardwood, 7,000 board feet of saw logs and 20 cord of pulp off that cut. All the trees were felled with my fleet of Stihl`s but a good deal of the firewood was bucked up with the Pioneers.cant beat a load of birch!
