This little country has more than it's fair share of idiots.

I was talking to some of the armed LEO's over there at a class. The stories they told were:jawdrop:

To be fair, they were also pretty surprised by some of the stories we told.

Ultimately the Husqvarna company will need to take action to protect it's trademark name. The expense of this action will be passed on to who? Please select from the following:

(A) The Chinese offenders
(B) Stilhl
(C) General Motors
(D) The customers that buy genuine Husqvarna products
(E) Barrack Obama

Choice "E" probably hasn't paid for anything with money he has earned in his whole life....

the people whoi make the saws dont brand them as huskies, there there own make then they get brought by a wannabe and re badged, still a ok saw but no where near as good quality as husqvarna

Report all BS ads and let Ebay figure it out. If it smells like crap, looks like (chinese) crap, and sells like crap, Surprise! Its Chi com crap! Shut that crap down...good spot..its gone now...when these crook figure out there is no money to be had they will stop selling this junk

I wonder who is actually making these...

just enter stihl and make a serch.

Some are crude copies of older saws, others are just fantasy/total fraud! :bang::bang:

The "395xp" ones belong to the latter category - no attempt to really copy the original at all, and even the labels aren't even remotely close.

Faking them as Stihl or Husky probably is done outside China, unlike the copies of the older saws.

This saw is fore sale in Sweden it look like a Stihl copy ?. Is it illegal to sell copy saws that no longer are produced by the manufacturer

Depends if the new manufacturers have purchased a licence from the original manufacturers to copy the product or have purchased the rights, tooling, intelectual & physical property, patents & copyright for the design from the original manufacturers.

Methinks the Chinese just copy and cheapen a proven design and think that Stihl won't bother chasing them for copying an old design - looks like a Stihl 008 in this case.

Was talking to the local Husky rep. Thinking about opening a shop. Asked him about the new Husky Redmax saws. He said they were Chinese made.
