I'd go with the 260, easiest starting saw I have. The 441 doesn't have much time on it, is harder to start, and I don't have the confidence in it yet. Hope that tree isn't too big for the 18 inch bar!

i have an 023 that i know would start 5 pulls max.

its 40 outside. i know it would.

more reliable then my dads husq 455

Vintage McCulloch

I don't own a new saw but never had any problems with the vintage McCullochs. I have about 20 to choose from and I make sure they are all in tip top shape so I guess a Pro Mac 60 or 10-10 would do the trick. I guess It depends how big the tree is.

Whichever was in front my 372Xp or my 357xp or the 385XP. ALL START RIGHT UP AND CUT VERY FAST

372XP b/c that has had the recoil cord replaced most recently. Guessing in that much of a panic your gonna be yankin like no tomorrow...would suck to yank the recoil cord in half just when ya needed it the most.

288xp or 090 are the best starters right now.just cause i been to busy(or is that lazy) to fix some saws lately
