Dave you might have something there, I know some were more finiky then others but I never really looked that close at them.

That micro looks great, I should have grabbed them covers as I need to fix up a nice Micro to attach to the NOS Poulan line trimmer attachment that I just got.

Or I should send it to you to put on that one!

I say it may be too big because when I install my mint WT-20 carb the saw runs way better, much crisper throttle response, now on the S25DA saw the WA-19 runs fine, she's also 38cc. Lol

So you were watching those covers too, I waited for the last second to bid on em as I didn't want the price to go up. The seller did list them as NOS but they were however installed on a saw that was never run, and was scavenged for parts, but what he claims the Poulan factory. Hmmmm never know.

Now that's a nice looking micro, and your welcome for the engine...lol...

I'm glad it worked out for you, I think I had that in the swap meet a while ago. I'm doing some spring cleaning. Small world indeed.
Kevin
Hey that was you??? Sure is funny, anyway thanks, that was one of my better ebay purchases of the micro saws, I been getting killed lately, one after the other just became parts saws as they were too far gone.

Great Job on that Dave, Thats the way to do one up right.
Looks like a new one.
Gregg,

You almost could call it a new saw, just basically the motor is used, but the cases are new.

Do ya have to remind us????????

Well I drove through Gary IN this afternoon and it was fresh in my mind. :hmm3grin2orange:

Nice job Dave!

Hey guys, thought I would venture out of the "Fighting thread" and ask you guys for help ID'ing this one. The sticker that normally has the serial number on the rear handle is gone. It was given to me, and I am going to add it to the stable. It is a very solid saw and is in great shape under all of that dirt. It has an ANSI sticker still on the saw that says 1985 and it has a mag. crankcase.

You southern boys got to remember, the south is not going to rise again.

Were all going down the toilet together now days..... :msp_angry:

Well I'm hoping that you are mistaken about that.
Us southern boys don't mind that flushing racket.................nor the swimming round and round.....................but when the water level drops so far I'm hoping (and you better hope too!) that we are fixin' to tie a knot big enough to clog the rest of the flush!!!
From the looks of things over "yonder" the U.S. isn't gonna let a government fire upon people when they are demanding a "REAL change".
Surely they wouldn't stop Kaddafi from doing it and then turn around and do it themselves!:dizzy:

Looks like a Craftsman 3.3 to me but most here will be more qualified to say than me.

Mike

Do you feel as silly as you did when you sunk that 360 into the log at Jeremys? :hmm3grin2orange:

(sorry I couldnt resist!)

Welll I have to admit that they caught my eye but I dont need all those duplicates. Besides I'm about out of room and I'm saving some money for some bigger cooler deals! (read big saws:rock:)

I would have be disappointed if you let that slide by without a jab..

To be honest, at the time I was surprised that the old saw was so slow. Since then I've been thinking about my other 60ish cc saws in relation to the 360. Know what???? You're right the thing is a dog. :hmm3grin2orange:

Nice saw. Id guess a 2.8. It looks just like mine which is a saw I use a lot.
Look up the model no. on Sears parts Direct, that will give you actual size motor.
Heres mine, looked like yours when i found it. Mike could be right too, wont know for sure till you look it up.

That is a good looking saw. Hope to have this one cleaned up by tomorrow night if all goes well. I have to look for a cylinder for it, the guy who gave it to me says there is a brand new piston in it, but he couldn't afford to have the cylinder done at the same time and he says there is a gouge in the cylinder.

Oh, well, like I said, the 3700 set the bar pretty high for 60cc back then. :msp_biggrin:

A guy at work said he's bringing me a free 360 this week as well. :hmm3grin2orange:

Thats ok, someone, somewhere likes em.

You know I forgot to tell you, I screwed up and sent that WT cover to Jeremy by mistake. He said he will send it on over to you.

Must be getting too absent minded but I sent 5 parts packages out Sat and only screwed up on one, so it could have been worse. LOL

Could be either a 2.8 or 3.3 as the others stated. The Poulan 2800, 3000 and 3300 are all basically similar saws with diff. P&C's. Could be a Craftsman/Poulan 3000 but don't know if Poulan built one for Craftsman in that size. Whatever all three are very good saws so whichever you have you'll enjoy.
