Yep, it's definitely not inconspicuous. I should paint this Makita lime green to prep her.

Poulans came/come in so many different colors. I'll have to research why the multiple color changes.

Just different time periods and different changes in the company. Plus you have the Dayton and craftsmen saws built by Poulan. Hang around this thread long enough and you'll learn a lot real quick!

I should go back and read this whole thread but 2k posts is a bit much lol. Thought I the smaller Poulans would be less desirable but I was wrong, you PP hoarders want them too.

No worries. You just saved me from getting yelled at by my wife. Just bought this Makita a week ago. Probably should give her some time to accept it. Plus the Poulan is green so she'll definitely find out I have multiple saws.

I don't know why you are afraid of your wife. This is mine sees when she opens the garage door.

Poulan actually bought Wright. You will also find Poulan Saws rebadged with brands such as Alden's, Spiegel, Skil, Ridgid, Wizard (Western Auto), Allis Chalmers, etc.

So how can you tell if it's a rebadged Poulan? Do they stamp the parts like the Husqvarna with the PP 5020AV?

Jeez man, you may have a problem. Would be kind of cool for the Intervention show to do one on chainsaws.
