Sorry to say it's point less. The electronic ignition fitted to the 031 av electronic is very prone to fail!......I'd make sure the saw has spark before you invest any time or money.

heres another coil i found in the box of bits but not sure what sort it is, its off a 031 ?My brain cell thinks it can see a later model coil....Is it an 031 AV Electronic ?

the first saw has spark as i tried to start it today , it fires well. May just have to pinch the coil off that one
Not sure what that coils off.
here's some part numbers.....
031 points coil. 1113 400 1300.
031 electronic coil. 1113 400 1301.
Flywheel, points. 1113 400 1200.

and on the face of the coil, i have

this is the only no,s on the coil
The 031 was not a great saw in my view, the early (points) saws had trouble with the flywheels exploding and the later electronic saw had the weak ignition.

If the saw in my pic helps you out its yours for the price of the postage, obviously the flywheel is shot and I think the carbs missing.

Save your money, search the local classifieds,trading post,eBay, gumtree etc, choose a capacity & brand you like n go 4 it!
There is some great 50-70cc new model saws available ATM.
It's a far better option than chasing your tail, repairing a saw that oem parts are nearly all obsolete for.
Just my 20 cents worth!

Looks the same as the jakmax ones. Ask Matt what he thinks of the nozzles... Sound flimsy from his accounts with them. Love my auto pore on my Stihl one, simple and not big and bulky
