Around here I still see some guy's selling P Pine, and Doug Fir for $75 a cord.
I went to $100 a cord a few years ago, and I'm going to try for $120 this year.

Forgot to ask.. Is White Pine any good for firewood? I've only ever burned Larch, fir, or lodgepole, but I found a dandy out in the woods today and really would like an excuse to go get it. Taped it today for grins.. 49" dbh. Thought it might be the perfect first tree for my "soon to be arriving" 7900.

I burn Western White Pine all the time. It's a little pitchy, but it burns hot.

Aint it the truth,here it must be cord, fractions of a cord
or cubic meter,foot legally but I can't see how a 4+8+2
could be considered a third of a cord and I am no fool LOL.
Anyway ricks,face cords or anything else is illegal measure
by bureau of standards.

How can a standarized unit of measure be manipulated so many ways.
128 cu ft is a cord-you euros can do your own conversion to what ever that system that you guys use says.

Here is a link to a firewood place that I saw recently Homestead Firewood. Their prices are higher than most of my local guys by about $50 per cord. BTW, they deal in cords and fractions of cords. cRaZy huh?

Frankly I thing moving a decimal to jump from Unit Of Measure to UOM makes a lot of sense.

I lived 13 months on Oahu and I remember constant mid 70's early 80's.
