He took all the meds that were supposed to keep him alive and healthy, but didn't change his diet - Ate the typical North American diet. Lots of meat, some bacon, sausage, potatoes, cheese, butter, processed margarine, a little veg and fruit, ice cream, desserts, some fast food, some booze. A few years passed and his blood pressure inched up again, he had another heart attack, fortunately he was close to the hospital or would be dead.
He had to have Quadruple bypass.
Some few lucky folks can abuse themselves with North American diet and manage to still live a long life, but for most of us the statistics don't lie, it's heart attack on a plate.
