I see Baileys has upped the prices on OEM Husky P&C kits

I planned to place an order a week ago for 2 346 P+C kits at $105 each since I just got a 10% off email. I delayed in placing the order since I couldn't decide which credit card acct I wouldn't mind losing if I were the victim of fraud. Now I see they bumped the price to $160 each. I guess I...

    MS 291 continues to impress

Any day with wood chips (or chain chips) flying through the air is a good day, whatever motorized axe you're using:)

    Husqvarna 562 XP for sale.

If you don't mind, can you check the date on the serial number plate? I'd like to know what date range they're selling; hopefully the newer ones have the carb issues resolved. Congrats on the saw:cheers:

    Rim Sprockets and Filing Guides

LCS sells 325/7 rims in "mini" spline for Stihl clutch drum applications. 11892 is for Oregon "small" spline and was never intended to work for Stihls. Your choices for Stihl rims are either to use GB or get bent over by your local Stihl dealer. My local dealer quoted me $16 for a rim for my...

Did a muffler mod on my Husky 435. I may have goofed!...

That's exactly what I meant, HVAC foil tape. I put it on several layers thick.

Did a muffler mod on my Husky 435. I may have goofed!...

I used several layers of aluminized duct tape (the real stuff) on a top cover when I cut out too much that wasn't covered by a deflector cover. It seemed to work pretty well. It got hot, but the tape stayed in place and nothing melted.

    Sold snelling ported 372

Great saw - great buy! :D Leave Skippy alone :(

OP would rather have a rebuilt or repaired saw than a documented mint Snelling saw.

    Just ordered a 241 c-m

Please elaborate about the needle bearing issues on the 241/261?

Would you buy the new Ford F-150 with the Aluminum body?

Edmunds has a vid on YouTube. They smashed the bed then had the dealership's body shop repair it. Cost was approx twice what it would be to fix steel.

    Mastermind Not Taking New Work?

Spacemule is onto something - maybe Randy could hire some disadvantaged Eskimos to help out in the shop; maybe do some tear down and help out with paperwork and shipping. That would free up some of his time... :dizzy:

    Small video 60cc line up.

Nice video - I didn't realize that a 562 had that much more nutz than a 357. Plan to get a 60cc small mount Husky soon - couldn't decide between a (NOS) 357/2156 or a 2260. 2260 is the choice after seeing your video.

    MS261cm coming home

I have a 261CM and I like the saw alot, but I'm always left unsatisfied with its performance. Since most of my saws are 50cc, lately I've been trying to decide whether I want to get it ported to bring it up to or beyond 60cc performance or get a 2260 (to keep weight down with the small bar...

    NOS Husky 357XP

I wondered what happened to that saw. I was watching that auction closely and, when it disappeared with 2 days to go I figured someone must have hit the "buy it now" option! Nice grab - that is a beautiful saw.

    Jonsered 2252 or 2253?

That was a very good deal. Mind if I ask who your (Jonsered) dealer is? I live on the southwestern tip of Lake Wallenpaupack. I have a 550XP, same as the 2253. You will love that 2252 :happybanana:

Need a new Saw Please help Husqvarna Fans

Is it a bad idea to use a piston stop ,i.e., are you likely to damage spark plug threads? or is it that they just aren't necessary?

Need a new Saw Please help Husqvarna Fans

If you need a saw right now, I'd buy the 372 for $679. That's a good price. Then get the 359 rebuilt as a 357xp when you have the time and money.

Burn spot on my new Sugi bar

My 550 was finicky as hell the first few tanks. Poor idling and warm start issues. Once it was fully broken in, I never had any more issues.

24" bar use ok for Husky 545?

20" is absolute max. 16" or 18" is what you should be using most of the time.
