Family pawn has one in their store right now. This pawn shop is located in Jefferson City Mo. The saw seems to be in decent shape but is missing the chain brake handle. I didn't take off the muffler but did pull it over a few times and while I don't know what they are supposed to feel like it...

No the saw was never over on its side so I guess a carb rebuild may be in order.

OK here is where I stand on my Makita 6401. If I set the choke and pull once then take off choke and pull 4 more times and raw fuel is spewing out of the muffler. All this is without the decomp button pressed. The only way to get it started is to hold the throttle wide open and pull like crazy...

Ya know I just went out into the garage and fired her up and I think you are right...... man she sounds sweet! I guess I could sell my body to pay for the new p&c. NOOOO not like that I mean maybe a kidney or such. If I tried the other way I'd lose money.:ices_rofl:

Ya know I bought my 361 BEFORE finding this site and man I sure am glad I didn't end up with the 390 I almost did. My 361 w/muff mod has never failed to impress anyone who has run it. It is a hot rod but is reliable as gravity! Hey I think I need to add that to my sig.
