Tree care poison ivy

i have poison ivy killing my trees what can I spray on poison ivy? How do I use the spray at the base or above the ground?

I use a hatchet to cut a foot or so out of the vine at the base of the tree. Then spray the vine around the base with brush killer. Once it dies yank it all down.

Yep. Often the ivy gets bigger/greener because it got more sunlight as the tree does so it gets blamed for it.

If you want it gone, just dig or pull it up by the roots, then you can pull it off the trunk. Cover your skin and you'll be fine.

It's good for wildlife and for fall color so we let it grow.
