I was wondering if you guys turn in unliscenced climbers or even liscenced climbers that top or endanger the life expectantncy of the tree. When I see it I am drawn to turn them in to the city forester. Is this the wrong thing to do? I am a dealer for arborist supplies but am interested in the everyday work that you and my customers do as I feel knowing a little of your business is every bit as important as knowing mine.

I would say go for it. Until enough people start doing something about the hackers out there, they will continue to thrive and bring down prices, quality, and the whole industry.

If you want to be nice first, try talking to them and have some of the ISA pamphlets with you to give out. This can have mixed results! If they choose to not listen after that, report them. I wish that we had someone to report them to around here!

Education before punishment!
