Just got the news that those new husky saws 555, 560xp and 562xp will be coming out in april. They are all 59.8 cc. The 555 will replace the 359. The 560xp will be small bar mount and replace the 560xp. the 562xp wil be a 560xp with big bar mount.

Whoops Im sorry the 560xp will replace the 357xp.
All three saws will have REV BOOST, whatever that means. What is cool is the power to weight ratio, the 560xp has 4.7 h.p. and weighes 11.9lb WOW
These saws look awsome, cant wait to run one, starten to shake uncontrolably due to the excessive excitment

All of these saws will have purge pump, Auto Tune, and X torq. The cool part is CAPTIVE bar nuts. now get a hold of that STIHL. the 362 stihl couldn,t hold a candle to that.

I was told two, not three model numbers, with the 562 available in either bar mount. In one way, your info would be better when people come in asking for a bar and not having to ask them narrow vs wide tail. But I don't like the "555" idea of getting away from the 2nd two numbers of the model indicating the CC's. (346NE should have been 352XP which while not exact, would have been closer with less confusion)
11.9 lbs would be great, but I wasn't given a number. My guy told me the weight felt comparable to the outgoing saws.
Time wise, the last I heard was end of second quarter, ie: end of June.
I'd say there is a good chance that we'll see a Jonsered version too. The pattern so far has been that Jonsered only seems to get a new model when Husky stops production on the outgoing chassis. (That's why we haven't seen a Red version of the 576 to date.)

Well I just got a 2010 Husky catolog today and it seems to be outdated already. They did get the cc rating of the 372 correct this year!

The MS362 vs 562XP will make and interesting showdown, but in tradition of AS, everyone will compare the Husky conventional saw to the Stihl strato, and not do true comparisons.
