Neat little saw, They are pretty cool with the direct gear drive on them..
 
I figured that wooden handle clue would be the one that did it. Too many clued-up saw historians on this forum to let that one go by (I'm definitely not one of them).

Oh, BTW, I want the saw. First saw I ever cut with was a Sears, though it was 10 years later than 1966.

nah, i just need to tally up some names. finding a box to fit that oily box into will be the biggest task. gotta love the original ipl still with the saw. there's also some good felling techniques in the service manual.
