288xp pics& video
Everyone is looking for pictures of my 288xp, so here is a few pictures, and a start up. It has been setting in the shed behind me there, with a empty tank for the last couple months, I just fueled it up, and oiled it up, and this is the first fire up in a while, it is seriously up for trade, need a climbing saw.

Same filter as a 5000? No, wrong color for one thing.
One of my parts 5000 saws has a jred recoil on it but I'm not sure what kind of shape it's in. I can check...
That would be great on the recoil Chris. The filter is different, the choke flapper is inside the filter and the choke lever comes out of the top.

I have quite a collection of NOS Jonsy air filters. Can you provide a part number or better yet post a pic of the filter?

Well, I'm still on the prowl for a decent Husky 385 cylinder. I bought a parts rig off e-bay but the cylinder on it is garbage. I got tons of stuff to trade and money too.

Parting out Stihl MS 361
Parting out a Stihl MS 361. Have good fuel tank/handle, crank case, piston/cylinder (spark plug threads iffy, I'll send pictures if you want), half wrap handle, other parts as well. No carb or muffler. No covers.

Ed, I took that recoil off, it works fine. It's not the prettiest one I've ever seen but it will certainly get ya going till you find a nice one.
