Cut a cord of wood last night, and my 435 made me smile

Got a borrowed saw doing some milling too, buddy found me a new chain for it (he took out a stump and roots with the old one... now it's a paperweight).... might tackle that tonight too. 181 Husky on an Alaskan II portable rig. Bunch of nice 12" cedar planks cut, 3 more logs to do yet... I'll be smilin' hard when I get onto that stuff again !

Collected dust!!! Too hot to do much cutting around here lately. I did start to cut a storm blow down the other day at a buds. I took my 2152 and a Craftsman/ Poulan 3000 that I built from the parts pile. I'm selling the Craftsman so wanted to run it through the paces to see how it was going to run. The Craftsman was doing great until I realized I was in a storm of Yellow Jackets. Got bit up pretty good. So now I have to find something to cut and use up my half gallon of mix.

Playing with the saws always goes too quick - it's the fun and relaxing part. Hauling and splitting is the work part! Actually I really enjoy swinging an axe too. it's my "workout", but it's productive.
