Got to run a couple of your MASTERPIECES at the GTG, Spike's 288 and, allegedly, your very first 395xp. Need I say you do some mighty fine work my friend.

Looks like a nice time, Wish I could have made it, but We were pouring the foundation for my shop today, since the weather didn't cooperate all week.

All i can say, It was one of the best gtg's i've been to.
Bob "spike60" did a fantastic job with help from friends.
The wood, food, and folks were all AAA++++++++++
Got to see some old faces and new ones two.
Ran many, many saws from mild to wild. The modded
562 and 7900 were screemers, Cut like none other in
there class. Ambulls 125 Kart saw and his 090 were
the big powerhouses of the day.

Bob, I can't thank you and your friends enough for hosting
such a great event.

Thanks for the kind words. I have a 390XP here I just finished that belongs to Spike as well. It was the first 390 I've done so I spent some extra time on it trying to be sure it would be a real runner. I just hate I was too late finishing it up for this GTG.

Where was Spike hiding? :msp_w00t:

I swear I am NOT making this up: Some freaking walk in "customer" was in the store shopping for gloves. Tried on every damn pair of gloves in the store. Even multiple pairs of the same size, because they might not be consistent. Talked at length about work gloves. But...........he only needs them for DRIVING. Then he started telling stories. He was in Libya when Kadaffi took power in the late 60's or whatever. Told me the name of the ship that pulled him out. I don't know where he is at the moment, but I'll bet he's dominating the conversation. :msp_ohmy:

Im sorry, didnt relaize that. It was all I could do to get them to drop the SAWS and FOOD and stand still for a minute............

+1 To everything Lee said about the GTG. Thanks again to Bob and his team for all the effort and expense associated with putting together the kind of deal that we were all able to enjoy today. When I got home and my wife asked how the GTG was my first response was breaking into the same kinda smile that the Husky rep had when he was runnin' the hot ones.

...Also a very special thanks to (Eric..I believe) for supplying us with the tasty vittles!! And Mastermind.....You did an awesome job on that 288!! It was great to finally put faces to names today!

First Class

Like all the previous posters have said it was a great time that Bob put on and I thank him and his crew for all the work that went into planning and putting together this event. Kudos to all.

Special thanks to the "Husky Guys" for providing all the latest and greatest, along with some familiar faces, for all to try.

It truly was a great event, I want to say thanks to Bob, all the new friends I met, and old friends I got to catch up with for an enjoyable day.

I would say to all that couldn't attend, you missed a great time, but that would truly be rubbing salt in the wound.

Take Care

:laugh: I figured you likely were in the shop with a customer or someone that needed something, but not a story like that.
Btw, I often try several pair of gloves myself before buying them, as it actually happens that that they don't fit equally well, despite they are the same make, model and size.:D

This GTG isn't technically over yet. TK, JRepairsK70E and I are still at the shop hanging out and drinking beer. (Jimmy doesn't drink, but TK and I are pytting a hurtin on the beer cooler. :msp_thumbup:

Thanks to all of you guys who made the trip today. With that many of you, I always feel that I wasn't able to visit with everyone as much as I would like to. But with the number of people and the store being open, ya just can't get the 1 on 1 time with everybody. We'll just have to do another one.

But all in all, a great day. And like I said, it's still going on. LOL
