I just went out to check my exact model numbers. Lo and behold, I forgot that I have an 18V Impactor. I've only used it for driving screws. Been a while since I used it, lol.

Here's my 12V pocket drill/driver. I use this thing extensively on all my saw builds.

The Clutch is your finger on the trigger. I use the Impactor all day everyday at work (install for dish network) man that thing is my go to. It drives everything from 5/16th 3" long lag bolts into green PT 4x4's to 1/2" long tiny screws into sheet rock. Just gotta have trigger control. Iv actually twisted off the 1/4" adapters for sockets before while driving those lags and hit a knot in the wood. Also 1 battery last nearly all week

Unfortunately they are chinese now. A couple of friends (carpenters) bought battery drills one lasted 2 days the other made it 2 whole weeks. Panasonic makes a very good drill. My 25 year old Milwaukee sawzall is still going strong.

I hear you man. You can't beat an impact driver for almost anything. I use mine almost every day. I've got a 20V Dewalt and a 36V Dewalt 1/2 impact. The 36V will Break lug nuts from tractor rims. It's a beast for cordless impact. I never thought it would have the power that it does. It will tighten a lug nut tighter than I can with a 24" breaker bar.

One of those Milwaukee video probes would be nice to look inside a cylinder by only removing the spark plug. Smaller diameter than many brands.

all i would like to have is 24 hours of no pain and feeling good
but on the other hand
i am not going to ask for anything this year,,, i have several nice saws,,, a good wife,,, my family and friends and my AS friends,, i have a warm house,,food,,good bed to sleep in,, my bills are all paid on time,, a nice truck,, so i couldn't ask for more

And all the cake you can eat!!!!!!!:msp_scared::laugh:

Baddest 18volt impact out there is Makita hands down. I have the newer Dewalt 20volt max stuff and it's nice but my buddies Makita will eat it alive.

the power of a dewalt 18v drill vs a makita 18v drill. Dewalt crushes makita. Makita 1/4" impacts are awesome. And they're all so much lighter. But unless makita has put metal gears in there drills I wouldn't by one. Seem more than a handful strip the gears off. Granted they get some extreme usage but I haven't seen a dewalt strip gears. Just my 2¢

Seriously? Ford vs. Chevy, Stihl vs. Husqvarna, now DeWalt vs. Makita? Come on guys there is no need to argue! We all know Toyota Trucks are the best, Stihl rules all and DeWalt kicks serious ace.

:smile2: :potstir:

Not saying I don't like makita. I use em all the time. Love how light they r. Just not impressed with the "transmission" in the drills. Not trying to start a dewalt vs makita argument. And if I was I'd start the thread in off topic. ;)

I got it, I got it. 55" LED smart tv, that way the whole family can enjoy AS while you browse from the comfort of your couch.

Both peavey's look pretty nice, I don't think you could go wrong with either one. The woodchuck dual does have a lifetime warranty, I like warranties.
