For the record, I'd just like to say I had nothing to do with this derailment. The boys had it all under control when I got here.

And a fine job was done by all. :)

Well really, I guess its time for me to "man up" and accept the blame for this whole thing.

I suspected up front that the OP just had a leaking tank vent, knew it was only a $4 fix and thought it was a better idea to do so then spend $400 on a new MS290 which I thought was a lesser saw.

I should have known that some folks just can't handle the truth!!!!!

I'll try to be better and more sensitive in the future...

He was actually to easy to pull the strings on IMO. :hmm3grin2orange:

Heck I have nothing against plastic saws. Even though I cant stand how that series of stihls is put together. :dizzy:

Don't tell anybody but I got an 023 and I love that little saw.

Shhhhhh

I've always said those Stihl saws are for selling and trading. No place for them amongst the sea of Poulan Pro yellow in my arsenal. I have nothing against a creamsickle (ran one for years as my only saw plan), some of them are decent saws just not the 290.........

anyone who owns a poulan cant offend me in any way other than saying a poulan is a usable saw.

A Poulan is a useable saw. 066balster, I sincerely hope that you are offended, even after you've been banned.

BTW/FYI:

#####'s is the possessive form of #####--That #####'s Poulan 5400 stomped my Stihl 066.
It's also a contraction--That #####'s (##### is) an encyclopedia of chainsaw knowledge.

#####es is the plural form of #####--Those bicthes own some truly awesome Poulan chainsaws.

I only posted the BTW/FYI to see the #####.

I know the identity of 066blaster:msp_biggrin:His name is Nathaniel and he's one of the goofballs from Moped Army. I can tell by the writing style:msp_wink:

Has he been on AS before under another name? If so.........what was that username?

Like that so much I'll put it in muh signature!!!

Dang, that's like being branded or something.

Guess you got to watch what you say around here. Randy found that out too. :hmm3grin2orange:

Dang, ya'll still squaking over this?

I shouldnt post this picture as I'll probably never live it down, but this shows that I have owned some Stihls, including a 029 Super.

This was the last time I owned it as well and it was gone shortly afterwords as I then bought my first brand new Husqvarna.

And there's the 029 for on-topic content.:D
