OK, since we have to go back on thread, I'll try to save ya buck. Get some of the waxed soft drink cups leftover from your Happy Meal and stuff them full of dry noodles, better yet if you can find some fat lighter and noodle it up! Just don't use 44 oz cups, the soft drink police will arrest you

but i don't live in new york city :msp_scared:

to keep up with this lady, i'd bring my truck, tractor, woodsplitter and some chainsaws!
probably need a helper or 2 to boot.:hmm3grin2orange:

Are you kidding. Anybody that goes to work for that woman is crazy. What man my age would even consider working like that? No beer break, even I don't drink. Just work work work.
Oh, c'mon, I'm not that bad! The way I see it is, I could do the majority of the work so the man could take it easy n maybe only do the really really hard stuff that I can't do. N if he does drink all my beer, I can always get more. http://i1151.photobucket.com/albums/o633/FLHX_Storm/beerbang_zpsb248cfee.gif

And all this talk, no one has asked for "pics" :msp_w00t:

Pictures? Okay, here is the latest picture of the round piles with the one that is being turned into a huge flower pot. I have seeded it and I have a bunch of little sprouts growing on it. It won't be long and it will have thousands of flowers on it. N since I spilled some seed on the ground. There will be a bunch growing around it even if I don't actually plant what I want to around the one.

And, here is an aerial view of those piles from about 100 feet in the air. (I jump really high  )

N for a little perspective of the height the pictures were taken from:

That's at least another 25 feet above the first pine tree in the first picture. (cuz I like being sassy)

Sorry about being off line for a bit. I had a bad case of the stomach flu that kept me from doing most anything for at least 2 weeks, n now that spring is here (kind of ) I've been playing catch up trying to get things set for spring, summer, and into fall. Plus a little extra. I didn't like how the cord of wood looked at the end of my driveway so I moved it into the shed. I still have at least one more garden to set up n part of the yard to the west of me (where the round wood piles are) that I want to level out and get some grass put in. Then maybe a few trees for looks.

It seems anymore either I'm felling, limbing, bucking and splitting wood or digging. Thank god for beer! :hmm3grin2orange:

How did you get up there? An 85 foot genie lift? That reminds of my old ironworking days.

Holzhausen for the punky stuff......now I am really jealous. I wish I could throw together one of those for my "good" firewood.
Very nice yard and piles....glad you are putting that stuff to good future composting use !!!

Umm, I used a Skyhook! I just hooked a cloud and away I went. Hmm, okay, not too believable. How about if I had an eagle I made friends with take the camera up n snap a few pictures for me. What? You still don't believe me? Okay, here's the truth! I enlisted the help of a few fairies n they carried the camera up n took a few pictures. Yep, n that's my story n I'm stickin to it!

btw, an 85 foot genie lift would not have gotten the camera up high enough. Heck, the power lines are at least 50 to 60 feet up. Then the top of the trees are a good 25 feet taller, n then add another 25 to get far enough above the trees. Nope, the fairies did it, I swear! After all, I'm a wood nymph! So having fairies do it isn't really that awful far out in left field. :msp_w00t:

Funny thing, I've found the Holz Hausen's easier to put together than stacking in rows or a cube.

(little story) My neighbor up the mountain also burns wood for heat. He recently had a birthday party and several of his guest asked him how come his wood piles didn't look as nice as mine (I was told after the fact) When it was mentioned to me, my response was "His has character, n my piles are just different!"

My huge flower pot was going to be covered in plastic, but when I did a quick wrap with some, I thought it looks awful, so now I'll just plant all sorts of viney things that flower to cover it and keep the moisture in.

If your the least bit creative, I think you could put one or more together. :msp_biggrin:

Why is it I don't believe any of it?
