What about trying the small steel bits that almost look like a file? They usually come with dremmel kits.

Got it all done today. Just in time supposed to go firewood cutting this weekend!

My signature muffler mod, this way sounds awesome.

Thanks JJ. Its just running the HD12 carb for now, robbed out of one of my other 372's. I'll do the swap for the HS296 when I get all the parts needed for that.

Oh, that's a 28" Techlight.

Do you have a 296 carb to put on it? I'm sending the manifold and choke lever. Do you need the intake boot? I have extra 385 intake boots.

Yes I got carbs. I got extra boots as well, don't like the way they fit 372 cylinders though.

Don't suppose you have any extra starter cover and top cover screws?

On the numbers, I ended up with

98ex
120 tra
80 int

I'm only using the top ring right now since I widened the transfers, the bottom ring location isn't ideal. I could move it I guess.

Went to check compression, and my stupid gauge is acting up, the stupid valve is broke, I need to get my valve core tool from work and change it out.

A little birdie told me that an xpw runs pretty good with those numbers... and the bottom ring is a bit over rated also (IMO).

Can't wait to see a video :msp_thumbup:

Ya I hope so. Most 372's 50mm. I keep at 100ex, but have done one @98 and it ran well, though I like them at 100 better. We shall see what the XPW LIKES!
