I need a piston for a MS361 big bore. 49mm not the OEM 47mm.

Thanks.

I done a few stihl's did a 361 runs like it's on fire.
I have no idea y that model goes for so much and there's no reason.
I know ebay has pushed the price of junk to a new level.

I've still got my 064 apart... then I want to finish my 380xp hybrid that I started years ago. (372 bottom end, 385 jug). Seems like the house takes up all my free time these days, then struggling to get wood ahead, then..... then.... it never ends

I wanted to do a 440/460 hybrid, but the parts seem to be going for amounts off the chart.

I may play with 044 #2, do a gasket delete and timing advance and see what happens.

yeah no ****.. they used to be cheap... smashed logger 460/046 for 100 bucks... another 100 bucks for a burnt p/c 044... you were in it 2 bills or less and part of the fun was the conversion.... but 5,6 to even 700 dollar parts saw plus time and more parts and porting... no thanks.

#2 should run good. base gasket delete, drop the intake a smidgin and raise the exhaust the thickness of the gasket. It'll run good. or you could rasp file the piston so the jug isn't permanently altered incase you wanted to send it off down the road, then don't touch the exhaust.

Not many yet.... still focused on the farm... if some calves get sold....
BUT on the bench:
Jonsered 2083 needs top end... going to try and salvage what's there and add a new piston.
Husqvarna 298 All there, needs a good cleaning and a carb kit. May need oil lines to chain oiler.
Husqvarna 385 needs new top end.
Husqvarna 372 "Stock" build for a friend. Have all the parts.. just need time.
Another tweaked 350, this time with a turned squish band and port timing like the "fugly's" (with lower exhaust than fugly one, more along the lines of 103 ATDC & blow down around 18 degrees)
A 372 with "Huztl" 52mm top end stuffed with a Stihl 064 piston with the crown trimmed ... effectively a pop up piston. Has a shorter skirt. Intake will be a little too advanced at 81 BTDC.
A 365 going to get a OEM 372xpw top end, the 75cc one. No mods at first.
That's it until spring time.

Other projects on the shelf but not budgeted time or parts yet include:
A clean L65. Needs rubber parts and a ring.
562... research project. Going to get some lathe work.
357 research project going to get a cut squish band & timing changed.
Several more 350's & 372's.. most sold when they are done. All with lathe work.
Homelite XP1000... needs a lot. All the parts are there. typical barn find.
Husqvarna 55, needed a piston put in (Have everything but time)
Husqvarna 42 needs a few odds and ends...
Two Jonsered 625's going to evolve into 272's

my wrapped a stacked 2100 I built cheaper then a wiped out 441 what is wrong with people.

It will need the bolts. There are only two in it and they are socket caps.

Nice looking cover!

I need a choke lever and kill switch for a Husky 55 if anyone can help out.

Great! I'm just preparing - making sure that I have everything I need.

Guess that means I still need a choke lever.

Man, all you guys with too many projects and not enough time...
I've got the opposite problem! Plenty of time this winter, but I have nothing lined up for the bench!

(shameless beg)
I got a running husky 55 I'd swap for a good husky project saw...
